Prof. Markus Ullsperger and Dr. Hans Kirschner from the University of Magdeburg, together with Prof. Matt Nassar from Brown University, have developed a new a new theory in their research project “Testing a Task-General Model of Cognitive Control” that explains how our brain maintains control over decisions and behavior in a world of constantly changing demands.
