Mentally fit into old age? – Lecture with Anne Maass

CRC 1436 project leader Anne Maaß was nominated with the Dorothea-Erxleben guest professorship of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg at the end of last year. On June 6, 2024 at 5 p.m., her lecture on the topic “Mentally fit into old age? Tracking down memory using multimodal brain imaging” in the Central Lecture Hall MED, House 22, Leipziger Str. 44 will take place.

In this lecture, the neuroscientist will explain how she can visualize and examine brain functions and structures using magnetic resonance imaging and positron emission tomography. Dr. Anne Maaß wants to use these techniques to investigate how pathological changes in our brain affect its functioning.

Guests are very welcome.
