CRC1436 PI Markus Fendt takes on new role

    Our CRC 1436 PI Markus Fendt from subproject A01 ‘NMDA receptor-dependent prefrontal circuits critical for cognitive flexibility,’ has been elected as the new president of the International Behavioural Neuroscience Society (IBNS). 

    The handover took place on 30 June 2025 during the IBNS annual conference in Tromsø (Norway). Prof. Fendt succeeds Prof. Dr. Jill Silverman from the University of California, Davis, who held the position for two years.
