CRC 1436 PI Dr. Anna Karpova has been awarded a prestigious grant from the Schram Foundation. The founder Armin Schram was a chemist and CEO of a large oil company with great personal interest in molecular neuroscience.
Over the next three years, this funding will facilitate Anna’s research into the role of G-protein coupled receptors in orchestrating both cell-autonomous and non-cell-autonomous autophagy within noradrenergic neurons of the locus coeruleus.
