With the aim of pooling its outstanding clinical and scientific expertise in an area of particular social relevance in Magdeburg, the University Medical Centre has established the Centre for Brain Health. This creates a central point of contact providing comprehensive support for people with neurological, neurodegenerative, and mental illnesses .
This close link between clinical treatment options and the latest research findings, such as those from our Collaborative Research Centre 1436, is the logical consequence of the neuroscientific structures that have developed here.
The official kick-off will take place on 6 May 2026 in Lecture Hall 7.
