The CRC General Assembly took place on December 17, 2025. As part of the meeting, the OWN Award 2025 was presented. This year’s award recipient is Vladislava Segen. We warmly congratulate her on this achievement.
The award, endowed with €5,000, can be used to support career-development measures, with a particular focus on the promotion of women in science. Prof. Anne Albrecht presented the award on behalf of this year’s patron, Ileana Hanganu-Opatz (Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg), who was unable to attend due to illness.
The award ceremony was embedded in our General Assembly event, which featured a diverse and engaging program. In addition to insightful talks, including presentations on our Brain Stimulation hub and Core Facilities, we were pleased to welcome Daniel Reznik (Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, Leipzig) as a guest speaker.
Overall, the event marked a successful conclusion to the year, providing space for exchange, information, and shared perspectives.
