As part of this year’s Female Career Days, two additional career advancement workshops are now open for registration.
On January 22, 2026, the online workshop “Effectively Gaining Visibility” will take place. It is designed to help female researchers navigate platforms such as LinkedIn and ResearchGate. The workshop focuses on questions of personal visibility, how the platforms work, and provides useful tips for job applications.
On February 5, 2026, the online workshop “Becoming a Professor” will follow for doctoral students and postdocs. Entitled “Becoming a Professor in Germany – What, Why, and How?”, the workshop explains what it means to be a professor in the German academic system and outlines the various paths to a professorship.
