Congratulations to our CRC member Panagiotis Iliopoulos on receiving the Best Student Poster Award at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC), the world’s largest international conference on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia research, attracting more than 10,000 participants from around the globe.
The award-winning poster, “Memory precision training and perirhinal plasticity: Navigating the influence of p-tau pathology on memory gains.”,” presented findings from a study on cognitive training, investigating improvements in memory performance, structural plasticity in the perirhinal cortex, and their association with plasma p-tau pathology. The award recognizes the scientific excellence of this research and its contribution to advancing Alzheimer’s disease research.
