Public Lecture on Dementia by Monique Breteler – Kick off to our international CRR 1436 Symposium

On November 1st 2023, the CRC 1436 started its first International CRC 1436 Symposium “Neural Resources of Cognition” with a public lecture. All interested parties were invited to join the lecture Prof. Monique Breteler, renowned neuroscientist at the University of Bonn and Director of Population Health Science at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) as well as head of the Rhineland Study on Healthy Ageing. She spoke to around 100 guests on the topic of Dementia „Können wir Demenz vorbeugen?“.

This lecture was followed by a unique opportunity to talk to experienced scientists from the field in a relaxed atmosphere with snacks and drinks. It was a successful kick off to our three-day CRC Symposium, which continued with numerous international scientists at the Dorint Hotel Herrenkrug, Magdeburg on Thursday and Friday.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the speaker, Monique Breteler, once again.
