We are pleased to inform you about our fourth call for applications for MD fellowships in our CRC 1436. MD fellowships will be available for a maximum period of 12 months with a monthly stipend of EUR 965 for the scholar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you would like to hire a medical student starting in the winter term (1.10.2023 – 30.09.2024), please provide the following documents by July 15, 2023:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
From PI:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
1) Abstract of the project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Including an explanation on how the proposed project shall contribute to the research aims of CRC 1436<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) Schedule of the work packages during the fellowship period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Consider that planned work packages should be feasible for an (typically research-inexperienced) MD student within the maximum 12-month fellowship period<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3) Recommendation letter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Statement from the PI on the selection of this particular candidate, including the candidate`s interest, background knowledge, motivation and other factors that may determine suitability for the position<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From MD Student:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
1) Motivation letter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) CV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
3) Certificate and grade of the 1st state examination (Physikum)<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MD students have to pause their studies during the fellowship period, but this is not yet required during the application process. Only after the selection committee has decided on the award of the scholarship, successful applicants will be asked to provide an official release note from the medical faculty, at least 2 weeks before the start of the fellowship term.
