Der zweite Pfeiler von Z01 basiert auf dem Mapping hirnweiter neuronaler Netzwerke mittels funktioneller Magnetresonanztomographie (fMRI) und Positronenemissionstomographie (PET). Hirnfunktion und kognitive Leistung sind das Ergebnis einer komplexen Interaktion zwischen einzelnen Hirnarealen, die globale neuronale Netzwerke bilden (Makroebene). Diese Wechselwirkungen werden wiederum durch eine fein abgestimmte neuronale Konnektivit\u00e4t auf zellul\u00e4rer und synaptischer Ebene zwischen den Hirnregionen (Mikro- und Mesoebene) bestimmt. Ziel von Z01 ist es daher, modernste Methoden f\u00fcr die Untersuchung von Hirnschaltkreisen auf der Mikro-, Meso- und Makroebene bereitzustellen, die es den Mitgliedern des SFB erm\u00f6glichen, dringende Fragen zu beantworten, z. Wenn solch eine Manipulation eines lokalen neuronalen Netzwerkes w\u00e4hrend einer fMRT Messung erfolgt, werden auch m\u00f6gliche Ver\u00e4nderungen globaler neuronaler Netzwerke messbar.
